Travel Information

Söhnstetten and Heidenheim are no big cities (2500 and 52000 inhabitants). There is no airport nearby but still it's easy to reach all EC08 locations.

Please be sure to take a look at the Area Map to make yourself familiar with the Event Locations: Area Map and Directions

By car

From North or South you will take highway A7 and exit at Heidenheim/Nattheim. Coming from East or West, you will most likely take A6 (North) or A8 (South) and connect to Heidenheim via A7. On your way to Heidenheim, you will either drive the bridge above Course two or the road along. You can't miss it. Happy driving without speed limit!

Car rentails:

By airplane

The closest airport to Söhnstetten/Heidenheim is Stuttgart (STR) with about 70km distance. Next is Munich (MUC), about 160km distance. You can get to Söhnstetten via rental car or train.

Interesting airlines:

By train

Please check http://www.bahn.de for train connections. Via ICE, you'll arrive most likely via Ulm which is about 40km South from Heidenheim. From Ulm, it's not hard to get to Heidenheim.

Trains will stop at Heidenheim, but there is no train connection to Söhnstetten. You either stop at Heidenheim (recommended) or at Suessen and take the Bus.
